For millennia the cultivation of olive and its different varieties in the Mediterranean is an element of cultural and economic identity of the peoples who live there.
Our olive farm is located in Andalusia, in the north of the province of Málaga, Comarca de Antequera, and between the Sierra de Humilladero and the Laguna Salada de Fuente de Piedra.
We cultivate our olive of the Hojiblanca variety in sustainable ways, respectful with the environment, free of chemical products in an area of 12 Hectares. For this reason we achieved the organic certification of production in 2010. Registration as ecological farm No. 16184.
The El Puntal farm is approximately 1,600 meters long and borders on La Sierra de Humilladero, a protected natural area. This optimal location enables the interaction of the wild fauna. In particular, the birds that help fight insect pests on the olive tree and create an ecological advantage for us.
The organoleptic characteristics of our olive oil give it a soft and pleasant taste with only 0.1º acidity.
Our olive oil is cold pressed and bottled by the Sierra de Yegua cooperative society (Health Protection Register 16.0003183 / MA).
